Toby Amidor, MS, RD, CDN, FAND, a veteran in the food and nutrition industry with over twenty years of experience, is an award-winning nutrition expert and Wall Street Journal best-selling cookbook author who believes that healthy and wholesome food can also be appetizing and delicious.
Toby is the founder of Toby Amidor Nutrition, PC, where she provides nutrition and food safety consulting servings for individuals, restaurants, commodities and food brands. For over ten years she has been the nutrition expert for FoodNetwork.com and founding contributor to its Healthy Eats blog. She is a regular contributor to U.S. News & World Report Eat + Run blog, Muscle & Fitness online, Shape.com and SparkPeople.com and she has her own “Ask the Expert” column in Today’s Dietitian magazine. She has been quoted in hundreds of publications like FoxNews.com, Self.com, ReadersDigest.com, Forbes.com, EatingWell.com and many more. Toby has also appeared on television, including The Dr. Oz Show, Coffee with America, Fox 5 NY’s Good Day Street Talk and San Antonio Live, and appears monthly on CT Style (WTHN). For ten years, she has been an adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University and has also been an adjunct at CUNY Hunter College School of Urban Public Health in New York City. Previously, she was a consultant on several television and online shows, including Bobby Deen’s Not My Mama’s Meals.
