After working in IT for 21 years, Marryn Mathis knew it was time to trade in her days of being in a cubicle for something more. It was when she discovered flower farming that deep down in her heart she knew this was what her soul had been longing for, a chance to grow and share beauty with others.
In 2018, Marryn left her days behind a desk behind and started The Farmhouse Flower Farm.
As Marryn now enters her sixth growing season, the flowers at The Farmhouse Flower Farm aren’t the only thing that is growing. With over 100,000 followers on Instagram, Marryn has become known for her stunning sweet peas, her annual sweet pea school workshops, her rainbow field of over 8000 dahlias and gorgeous farm fresh bouquets.
Marryn has been featured in American Farmhouse Style magazine, Growing Floret on the Magnolia Network as well as a guest on Let’s Grow Girls, Flower Friends and Garden People podcasts.
Marryn lives in Stanwood, Washington with her husband Scott, their two sons Maverick and Finn and a menagerie of farm animals. She loves spending time with her family, is an avid lover of 80’s music and when she’s not farming you’ll find her working on restoring their 1901 farmhouse.
