Venezuelan-American chef Alejandra Schrader signs with The Lisa Ekus Group
For immediate releaseJune 6, 2019 – Bilingual chef, food TV personality, and healthy food advocate Alejandra Schrader recently signed with The Lisa Ekus Group, LLC. She brings her Venezuelan heritage and educational background in biodiversity and land development to both the author and spokesperson divisions of the agency.Born in Chicago and now residing in Los Angeles, Alejandra spent her childhood and half of her life in Caracas, Venezuela where she learned family recipes and traditional Venezuelan dishes from her mom and grandmother. Her passion for cooking led her to experience and experiment with cultural flavors and culinary traditions from Mexico to Argentina, and global flavors that include North African, Indian, Vietnamese, Italian, and Spanish. Her culinary foundation coupled with her Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan led Alejandra to pursue a culinary journey focused on food systems as they relate to a greener planet.
